City Harvest’s Corporate Partnerships department is seeking an unpaid Intern to work in our midtown office. This is an excellent opportunity for a student interested in pursuing a career in the field of a non-profit and specifically in corporate/community sponsorships and partnerships.  The ideal candidate will gain knowledge about corporate sponsorships and volunteer initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Corporate Partnerships department with corporate sponsorships & initiatives
• Assist with acknowledgement and communications to corporate donors
• Research prospective donors for corporate sponsorship
• Scheduling and organizing volunteers in the office
• Assisting in the administration of Volunteer Management for off-site events
• Representing City Harvest at visibility opportunities
• Strong Microsoft office computer skills
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Strong attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills
• Able to follow-through and meet deadlines
• Special projects as assigned

Requirements

 Undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business Administration
• Student must have completed sophomore year of studies
• Strong Microsoft office computer skills; including strong knowledge of Excel
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Strong attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills
• Able to follow-through and meet deadlines effectively and efficiently
• High integrity and confidentiality
• Experience working in a fast-paced office environment
• A commitment through December 30 is required.

Additional Information:
• 20 hours per week – ( hours of work negotiable)
