Ideally you will come from a mid to large food-distribution organization where you created solutions that addressed business issues. You will be responsible for supporting and maintaining all enterprise applications and you must be experienced in complex integration solutions utilizing applications such as Microsoft Dynamics GP 10, FRx Forecaster & Reporter, BlackBaud Raiser’s Edge and UPS RoadNet Transportation suite.
As the NET Programmer Analyst you will report to the Director of Information Technology. You will use your quality conscience and creativity coupled with your analytical problem solving ability to provide application modifications, support and maintenance in an ever-changing business environment. In this role, you will be the SME for all back-end application operations and you will be expected to make all future application development recommendations.
• BS in Computer Science or related degree and 5-7 years hands-on development experience or at least 8 years equivalent application development using current technologies experience in a corporate environment with verifiable ongoing training in current development tools and technologies.
• 5+ years corporate experience as a Systems analyst/developer, ideally in a non-profit environment, with progressively increasing roles and responsibilities.
• Experience using application development lifecycle methodologies, such as the SDLC or CMMI, in addition to business requirement translation to systems requirements, and solutions delivery to customer specifications within time frames.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex systems issues and solutions to teams consisting of both technical and non-technical managers and staff at all levels of the organization.
• Must be able to work both as part of a team and individually while adhering to project plans, meeting deadlines and achieving project goals before assigned deadlines.
• Proficiency in writing and maintaining all system documentation, code libraries and creating how-to documents for end users. User training a plus.
• Utilize your analytical problem solving skills to proactively communicate issues and accept feedback from Customers to ensure quality solutions.
• Application development utilizing .net Framework, Visual Studio, ASP.net, C#, HTML, XML, PHP and SQL.
• Hands-on support and maintenance of applications in a Microsoft environment including Windows Server 2003/2008 R2, SQL Server 2005/08, SharePoint and SharePoint Portal Servers, IIS, MS Exchange 2003, MS Office 2007, and VMware Virtual servers.
• Expert level understanding of SDLC, CMMI or other Application Development Lifecycle methodology.
• Build and support a Data warehouse in SQL 2005/08 environment including SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, ETL, and automated and/or Web-Based reporting technologies.
• Solid understanding and experience in building a knowledge base of How-To Documents and operations manuals for end users and technical staff.
