  • Eat Breakfast! Starting the day out right balances your system, and makes you less hungry later on.
  • Take time to cook! Foods eaten at home are generally higher in iron and fiber and lower in fat, sugar, and salt.
  • Watch the amount of food you eat. Smaller portions, but higher nutrient value food is very filling.


  • Remember, if you eat a healthy diet, you are likely to live longer, and your kids will learn by example.
  • Exercise! Its not just food that keeps you healthy, but what you do with your body.
