Partnerships

The problems of hunger and diet-related disease are today demanding the attention of policymakers and the public. In addition to our public policy initiatives, City Harvest engages in advocacy work with networks and collaborations on the city, state, and national levels to achieve large scale change.

Through the Policy Committee on NYC Hunger Resources we work with state and city agencies, and non profit partners to share resources through FeedNYC, the Emergency Food Database, to improve services for emergency food providers.

We work with the National Farm to School Network and School Food FOCUS to promote improvements to school meals on the national level in the upcoming Child Nutrition Reauthorization.
