Brooklyn Bridge Park’s The Tobacco Warehouse

City Harvest's first-ever The Brooklyn Local was a tremendous success, hosting almost 2,500 guests and raising over $100,000 in support of our work feeding hungry New Yorkers! Guests experienced the best of Brooklyn's culinary world, from the more than 75 purveyors in the marketplace to the 15 restaurants featured in our tasting tent. The Kids Zone was a hit, featuring a composting demonstration, cupcake decorating, face painting, and so much more! We would also like to thank all of the celebrity chefs who were on hand to sign copies of their cookbooks for our guests. All proceeds from this event support our work in Brooklyn.
