How many players will be participating in City Harvest Presents All In: New York’s Most Glamorous Virtual Poker Night?
There will be 64 players total, including supporters and celebrities, competing at 8 tables.
What is the duration of the virtual poker night?
The virtual poker night being at 7pm and will run for approximately 4 hours. Each player will play at least one round, continuing until they run out of chips. The winner of each table will go on to play at the final table, and compete for the title of City Harvest Poker Champion!
Will the virtual poker night be live streamed?
No, the event will not be live streamed. However, it will be recorded for City Harvest’s archives.
Do I need to be a poker expert to participate?
Absolutely not! All players are welcome, from novices to pros. It would be helpful to brush up on your understanding of poker basics prior to the event. Below we have provided you with two online tutorials that can help get you up to speed. Additionally, the purchase of a We Are City Harvest Package includes a pre-tournament poker tutorial with a poker pro or celebrity player.

How will I communicate with other players at my table?
Each table will have a private Zoom chat room, where players will be able to communicate with everyone at their table.
What happens if I experience any technical issues the evening of the event?
Each table will have a technical support staff member in their chat room, that can troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
Is poker all about the cards you are dealt?
Not entirely! The cards play a major part in determining who wins and who loses, but the actions of players, including their betting strategies, are also a fundamental part of the game.
Can I choose an avatar for the poker platform?
Players can select from the available avatars within the ClubWPT poker platform.
Can I get familiar with the poker platform before the game?
Yes, participants can go to ClubWPT.com and create a free 30-day trial account. There, you’d be able to gain experience in online poker playing, though it wouldn’t be a private game like the one we will be hosting.
Do 100% of proceeds benefit City Harvest?
Yes! All proceeds from the evening will directly support City Harvest’s work feeding New Yorkers in need amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
