2025 City Harvest Advocacy Awards

Since 2020, the annual City Harvest Advocacy Awards have recognized the exceptional contributions of members of the larger City Harvest community who advocate to end hunger and food waste in New York City and beyond

Throughout 2025, these advocates went above and beyond, making their voices heard as they advocated for city, state, and federal policies that support New Yorkers. Together, they rallied on the steps of City Hall; led grassroots efforts that engaged more than 6,000 New Yorkers in urging state leaders to fund food security, helping secure over $190 million for critical anti-hunger programs; mobilized thousands of New Yorkers through our Get Out the Vote campaign; brought hundreds of advocates to Albany and Washington, D.C. to advocate alongside elected officials; and so much more.

Please join us in celebrating the collective accomplishments of our 2025 City Harvest Advocacy Award recipients, including 23 City Harvest food pantry partners and a record-breaking 37 exceptional individual City Harvest volunteers.
