As cuts to SNAP included in the One Big Beautiful Bill Act continue to take effect and federal funding cuts weaken the emergency food network, the government’s investment to support food security is more critical than ever before.

City Harvest hosted a discussion with elected officials and food pantry and advocacy partners on the impacts of federal budget cuts on food insecurity and opportunities to mitigate cuts through state-funded emergency food programs.
